I’ve never had any of the used cars I’ve bought inspected and haven’t had any problems but I’m helping my buddy buy his first car and I think it would be a good idea. What should I tell him to ask the mechanic?

  1. The most important ,engine and trans followed by suspension and brakes.Tires are wear and tear items but should be considered.With an engine compression test probably approx. 2hrs x whatever he charges/hr. well worth it.good luck
