Are car dealerships able to lease used cars for short periods of time?

Are car dealers able to lease used cars for short periods of time such as 2-5 months? Is it really up to the dealerships discretion? Anyone have any experience or knowledge in this?

They can but generally they won’t because there’s too much risk involved with such a short term lease.

Sure they can but most are not in the business of leasing cars like those terms. Their insurance would prohibit it.

I’ve never seen this question, but hell yes. They can do what ever they want as long as it generates money.
