  1. You have to have a car dealer license in order to purchase from dealer auction sites.

You can only go to public auctions or police public auctions.

There’s a stereotype about Used Car dealers. They’re not all dishonest, this industry is heavily regulated. The guidelines created ensure that the public are protected.

When you like a car you see, check the VIN # in the front dash, and go to CAR FAX and print out a report(which is 100% accurate)

  2. Not sure if everyone is allowed to bid but you could call and ask. I’m not sure about Osman but I know for Adesa the selling dealer has to list what is wrong with the vehicle, and the vehicle has to pass a Buyer Protection Inspection or something like that to verify it’s good. Unless the selling dealer marks it as a red light, which means sold as is, which usually means filled with many problems or a very big problem. Hope this helps!
