i just turned 16 a few weeks ago and my mom said she will go and take me to get my permit after regents week(last week of January) and i was just wondering are police impound auctions any good?cause i want my own car im tired of taking the train most of the time everything smells like feet and if i do go to a police auction i was hoping in getting my Dream car

Dodge charger R/T Daytona Edition or the SRT8(perferred 2006-2009)

i know it depends but i seen about of ppl with these car and most likely they will default on there payment
oh i forgot i know all about insurance i may be 16 but i don’t think like one and i go to a trade school for Automotive industry
not everyone is a drug dealer or addict most people default on there payments within the first year so low mileage and in good condition and as i said im a pre-auto mech

  1. Some cars are good ,confiscated drug carriers and most are junk and abandoned but all have been sitting for months. The feds have auctions and they get the better cars. Go to firstgov, org and look for a listing for DEA or IRS to get on the mailing list, Some TV ads offer to sell you the list,it’s free.

  2. That is a very expensive dream car, even at auction price you’re looking at more than $20,000.

Police auctions are great for good deals. Most of the cars will need new ignitions and possibly extensive interior repairs. But to get a good commuter car any auction will do. Most cars sell for half retail value.

  3. Check out this site. They have many good low mileage older cars that they sell for very good prices. Police auctions maybe ok but if a person is addicted to drugs how well is he going to take care of his car?
