Lexus is the luxury division of automaker Toyota. It was first introduced to the United States in 1989 and has become a significant player in the premium automotive segment of the market. Lexus introduced the Lexus LS and has never looked back since. Lexus has added sedan, coupe, convertible and SUV models to the line up over the past twenty years.
The first model was the Lexus LS 400 was quickly joined by the ES 250 and followed by the SC 400. With a high level of perceived quality, Lexus built a brand on the luxury auto consumer that wanted a reasonable priced vehicle. The Lexus brand used a marketing slogan of relentless pursuit of perfection which continues to this day.
Design and cutting edge technology has been a trademark of all the Lexus model lines. Lexus has used a development process off the word Ideal or “Impressive, Dynamic, Elegant, Advanced, and Lasting” which has managed to keep Lexus at the top of the luxury automaker segment.
Lexus offers four sedans with such as the IS, ES, GS and LS models priced from $35,000 to $65,000 at the base model. Additionally, Lexus has the luxury utility line which includes thee SUV models of the RX, GX and LX priced from $37,000 to $67,000 at the base model. The convertible line has the SC and ISC Lexus models and the final group of Lexus vehicles is the Hybrid Line with HS Hybrid, RX Hybrid, GS hybrid and LS Hybrid vehicles.
Lexus will continue to compete in the luxury automotive segment of the United States market with pursuit of perfection and thriving. They build some of the finest luxury cars on the market and win awards on an annual basis. Lexus is going strong in the American automotive market.
