can i purchase a used car with my motobility allowance?

I want to put a large deposit on a used car, and pay the rest with my mobility money.
Is this allowed?

Yes you can.
Hire purchase
Hire purchase enables you to buy the car you want. This can be a new or used car. You are responsible for negotiating the purchase price of the car with the dealer and arranging insurance cover. At the end of the hire purchase agreement – which can be between three and five years – you will own the car.

are you meaning motorbility or mobility.if it the first then yes if it helps your mobility.if it the later then you rescind mobility and get a car from motorbility registered showroom.it has to be new will be fully tax and insured and changed every three years

Hi what you do with the money is your concern,
however motability do run a similar scheme why not enquire.
