I financed a used vehicle from a car lot and paid in cash a total of 00.00 for a down payment to the dealer. The total price of vehicle was 00.00. The remaining balance of 00.00 was financed through a loan company/bank. My first payment due gave me a 10 day grace period from date due, and a late charge owed if paid after that. Three days after grace period the dealership towed my vehicle. The finance company knows nothing and says dealer has vehicle, but dealership says finance co. has vehicle. Two days no answers from either party. What do I do? Is this legal? Please help legally. Thank you. How do I get personal belongings back imediately that I have in car?

  1. You should immediately contact an Attorney and sue the Car company for all they are worth.

And your Attorney can ask for Compensatory damages, (to compensate you out of pocket expenses and for them taking the car), Punitive damages (because taking the car was Wrongfully), Exemplary damages (So they stop this unlawful practice), Attorney fees, and an award for reimbursement of your Court costs.

Second question about your personal belongings – Call the car company and inform them that unless you get all of your personal belongings back immediately you will file a criminal charge against them for stealing your belongings! They do not have the right to keep your stuff!

Because you also have an extra, or a second claim against the Car company for illegally taking your personal items!

    Good Luck!

Take them for every dime and dollar you can!
