Last year I was in an auto accident and was still paying on my car but was out of work for awhile so the dealership repoed my car and put a judgement against me but I missed the court date and still have the paper work they sent me so what happens now?? I don’t have the money to pay off the loan or have any assets.

  1. You will have to deal with it someday.
Go talk to the lenders, and explain.
See if you can work something out.
At least contacting looks better for you than avoiding.
And your credit record will be affected anyway but maybe a bit more leniancy will be granted.

    Best of luck

  2. Beings you didn’t show they won the case and got a judgment for the money owed. Now they can collect it if they want so they may garnish future wages or attach any future assets until the judgment is satisfied……………….md
