If you're in default on your credit card, your creditor could sue you and try to take the car if you don't have money to pay them back.

If you paid it off, and the funds were available on your card and the transaction went through, why would they have a reason to repossess the car? If they have the money, there is no action to take the collateral away, as now you own it.

Something is missing in this question.

You can go there and look at the cars to see if there are any you want. Unfortunately, a lot of dealers go there as well, and they outbid everyone for the choice cars. You can get a good running car that doesn't look good, or a crappy looking car that runs great. If you want a good looking car that runs great, you will pay for it.

Someone else suggested charcoal. Exactly the best solution. The best and easiest is a product that I love and works really really well. It actually does what it says it will do. The product is called fridge-It odor absorber. Put a couple in your car. Totally fragrance free and actually gets rid of the odors instead of those horrible scented fresheners. Make sure to also put in your trunk. There are some other charcoal products that don't seem to work as well and have lots of little pieces.
Try kitchen department at Walmart or linens and things.

Best way I ever seen was Steam the Foam. It will make them like new, remove any odors from the foam and fabric. Then steam the carpets, same effect. It renews the fiber and removes any odor. If the seats are Vynal, pull them out, carefully pull the vynal away from the foam, then steam. If there are Listing Rods or Wires, well there arent many any more and if there are they are usually Velcroed in. Let it air dry out for 8 hours or so. enjoy.

I sell used cars for a living.....here is what you do. First make sure there is no moisture in the car. Alot of dealers have their cars detailed and the foolish people at the detail shop let it dry with the windows up which causes a really bad smell. If it is wet.....steam clean the carpet to get the old water out that couldn't evaporate........If it is dry and not a mold smell........buy a package of charcoal and open it up.....put it in the trunk. It will absorb ALL of the nasty odor. Thank me later....it really works.
