I bought something on ebay and used paypal. my invoice says that i was charged 56$ as expected. but when i look at the ebay auction page, it says that the auction ended at . it IS the auction that i bid on, not a second similar auction by the same seller. why are these two prices different? I tried to find out on ebay site but i cant find the question in their auto-help thing and their contact-us thing dosnt work unless your question matchs a premade question from a list.
it was a buy-it-now thing. i paid with paypal. payment details says i won the auction for 56$. the auction site said it went for 75$.
it was 50$ + shipping for a total of 56$ on invoice. auction page says it ended for 75$.

You could try ebays live chat or contact the seller. Very strange.
I once had a seller immediately change the buy it now price after I purchased it, but on my invoice the price was as it should be.
So on paypal the payment processed for $56. did the seller include postage on the invoice?
Edit. Contact Ebays live chat, they could be of assistance. It could be an Ebay glitch.?

the winning bidder probably didn’t pay, so the seller asked the next highest bidder on the list: you.

Call ebay at 1-866-643-3720, or 408-376-7400. Also contact the seller. It may be a glitch in the system, ebay has been having problems the past few weeks with glitches in their system.
