Do not let failing to report an accident become part of your usual business practice. No matter where people are working, a warehouse, car garage, kitchen or an office they must be kept safe and with nobody reporting accidents the whole morale of the workers will also be down.

There should be no injuries or fatalities due to problems that can be avoided. We have come a long way since out past regarding safety but we can always do better. What good is running a company to make money when workers are getting hurt, proper procedures have to be put in place to protect everyone.

The supervisor or person directly in charge on top of you must be notified when an accident has occurred; there is no sense in waiting for even a second to hesitate. Problems are recorded so that they will not happen again to another person just like they happened in the first place, so everyone is aware of the danger.

Injuries must be reported and logbooks collected so that everyone can learn of the danger and know how to avoid it from happening again. You could be responsible for other people getting hurt just by your refusal to report earlier similar instances.

Occupational health and safety representatives should be present at all working sites; they should either have that job alone or hold the title while also doing another job. With these specialists in place people have some security and know that when something happens it is their job to fix it for them.

Some people may think that it is not their job to do the reporting of an accident and they are not getting paid for it so why do it. But this attitude is the wrong one to have for several reasons. Dangerous work practices should be abolished and changed and if the person acting wrongly refuses to change they should lose their job.

Dealing with accidents incorrectly may lead to the exact same thing happening to someone else or even you. Great care must be taken in reporting accidents and failing to do so should never be an option. When faced with a problem it must be reported and labeled correctly so that people know there is a hazard there.

Slippery floors, broken machinery or cracked glass whether it is a problem waiting to happen or something that may become a problem all of these issues need to be raised and taken care of. Records of everything must be kept so everyone is properly informed and prepared.

If you find yourself accused of breaking the laws of the road such as Failing to Report an Accident or general speeding offences, then you will undoubtedly be wanting the help of qualified solicitors to help you plead your case. Patterson Law are a specialist road law firm.
