  1. Go with some cash cuz they usually need you to give some cash down if you say you wnna buyt the car. Listen to the engine to see if its not about to break … and good luck cuz there’s not much you can do when buyin on auctions

  2. There are three kinds of car auctions:
Dealer only auctions — only licensed dealers are allowed to buy or sell cars,You can not get in or bid without being a licensed car dealer or an employee.
Public auctions — the public is allowed in.In fact, you usually cant by anything from public ‘open’ auctions because usually the pricing is too high.
Government and Police auctions — Every day, the government confiscates, seizes and repossesses thousands of Vehicles. These vehicles are usually typically listed at 90% OFF their original value and auctions usually start at $100.

Four months ago,I bouht a near new SUV from online government auction. It only cost me $730 and i have not had one problem with it yet .
You can check out http://seized-car-auction.info ,That site lists top 5 Police auction sites and help you choose the best one.
    Good luck!

  3. Look under the hood for anything unusual check the oil is it low? too dark? it should be light colored. check the transmission oil: is it red? red is good, or is it dark? look under the car for oil leaks, rust, cracks or damages. Start the car and listen to the engine: does it run smooth or is it rough. try to test drive it: make some U turn right and left and pay attention to any unusual noises, put it in reverse, 4X4 mode and see how it drives. is the transmission shifting smoothly?
keep in mind that after you win the bet on a car you still have to pay taxes, License, auction fees and registration fees based on where you live. it is also a good idea to take a friend with you who know about cars preferably a mechanic that would help too.
