  1. strykers arent bad, they just dont offer anything a smaller apc cant, and because their larger theyre harder to deploy, harder to move through urban environments (which ironically is what they were designed to do..) and the sryker shouldve been about the same size as the LAV300 V300 without slated armor (slated armor should be attached after deployment do to space restrictions/)

  2. WTF is the gunner doing???!!!!he had a clear line of fire @ 5:42!!!!!! and has the crew never heard of a secondary armament, such as an MG, or Rapid-fire grenade launchers????!!!!!!!!

  7. IMHO… At this level of sophistication the LEO2, Challenger and M1A2 are essentially equal. If you were to put all three on a battlefield (against each other) the winner would be the best crew…. not the best tank. That said, Land Rover/Range Rover…BEST 4X4′s ever made.

  8. It is the heaviest armoured tank in the world, so I have no idea what ACESNIPER is talking about. Only one Challenger has been lost due to “fire”. That fire came from another tank. That tank was a Challenger 2.

  11. PT6 – The Chall2 is the best MBT as it uses Hydrogas suspension, giving superior off- road mobility, has the most advanced composite armour in the world, designed to take multiple strikes, unlike passive & spaced, and uses a rifled cannon giving higher accuracy.

  13. I think economically speaking, the Challenger offers more bang per buck, that has always been the way the British military does things, comes from having a bloated empire then a hefting welfare state IMHO the military can’t be an economic burden.
I figured the USA has 5x abrams as it has 5x as many tax paying citizens (and a stronger economy). This is all my armchair historian/tactician opinion but I may be missing something vital.

  14. ACESNIPER093 concludes:

“However the german leppard tends to posses more effective on the battle field than both of these tanks. the leppard is like the king koiengstiger of wwii it is able to withstand more hits than both of these tanks although much is classified about these tanks the order from best to worst is as follows

    1. 2A5 Leppard (GERMANY)
    2. M1A1 ABRAMS(U.S.A.)
    3. CHALLENGER MK 4(U.K)”

  15. ACESNIPER093 continues:

“abrams also has state of the art explosive shells how ever the challengers gun happens to be 125mm which is slightly more than the abrams also there isnt enough challengers aroubd to really put fear into the enemy but this debate has been going on for so long both tanks have their flaws they actually are almost equal and they are the 2 best tanks in production in their time both have the same types of armor that originated from england called chobbam.”

  16. ACESNIPER093 writes:

    “challenger VS. m1a1 abrams

the challenger tends to be slightly less manuaverable then the m1a1 abrams also an abrams can with stand more explosive rounds than a challenger the abrams has been mass produced out numbering the challenger 1:5 and it is said that na abrams can continue to operate in an area that has rescently been hit with radioactive ordiance.

  17. In real war they would’ve disabled the vehicle in 5 seconds with the L94A1 chain gun shot the engine and tyres, then shelled it.
