  1. Call the finance company ASAP and they will either put the over due payments on the back end of the loan or if you have the cash then yes, if you pay them up to date they will call off the hounds.

    Good luck

  3. Too late unless you work it out with the finance company. I suggest you call them about 3 months ago.

  4. Unfortunately you are at the mercy of the loan company, it is they you have to answer to. You will have to call them A.S.A.P. and it will be up to them if you’ll be able to catch up the payments. Good luck with that being 5 months behind, but it does deserve a shot. Also, it wouldn’t be advisable to make any promises to them that you cannot back up ie: I promise I’ll have all of your money owed on Fri when I get paid, then not show up on Fri to make the payment. I can guarantee that you won’t have any chance in hell of keeping the car if you do that.
Be responsible, you made the debt, you agreed to pay the debt.

  5. They should call off the repo if you catch up on the 5 late payments right away.

After they repo it, you will also owe a repo fee plus storage.

I am very surprised they haven’t already gotten it. Usually, they come looking long before 5 months.
