  6. by the way there utubejjk..jeff gordon has 4 championships..in the old point system he would have 6 championships..not to mention when petty raced. there was maybe 5 guys that had a chance to win..when earnhardt raced..around 15 guys had a chance..and now current time..30-35 drivers all have a chance to win because the competion is that good..so please get your facts straight..and watch people that know what they are talkign about on tv because they say the same thing……genious

    Comment by DialgaRules24 — August 24, 2009 @ 7:00 am

  14. Actually, he’s NASCAR’s second or third greatest. Behind Dale Earnhardt and maybe Richard Petty.

To Jeff Gordon: I hope you the best of luck in ’09. I will always be behind ya, Jeff, no matter what! It would make me very happy if you’d win and dominate this year!!! LONG LIVE JEFF GORDON, NASCAR’s GREATEST!!!

    He’s had 4 championships..

Hey, its your opinion.. Gordons better to me.. maybe not to you.. who cares!

    Go Jeff Gordon!!!

    Comment by Iodine24 — August 24, 2009 @ 7:00 am

  18. Richard Petty: 200 Wins, 7 Championships
Dale Earnhardt: 76 Wins, 7 Championships
Jeff Gordon: 81 Wins, 3 Championships.

    You decide.
which is better? 7 or 3 Championships??

    Comment by utubejjk — August 24, 2009 @ 7:00 am

  19. Actually, I’m sorry but I have to correct you guys..

In my books, he is THE greatest!
Doesn’t matter where he stands with the rest of them…

    Comment by Iodine24 — August 24, 2009 @ 7:00 am

  20. Actually he didnt beat Earnhardt. Gordon has to win 3 more championships to tie Earnhardt. And in my opinion, Earnhardt was better than Petty, even though they both have 7 championships. Earnhardt had more competition in his era.
