purchase the car. The price for the car was 02 I gave the dealer 00. I am not understanding where is this repossessed coming from. 4hour is hardly any time to take complete possession of the car. That’s fine if he keeps the car just gave me my monies back. Not both car and money.

  1. I suspect the dealer sold you a car which does not have a clear title and a former owner still owes money on it, so it was repossessed. The dealer sounds crooked and I hope you can get your money back.

  4. OK, after reading all of the incoherent questions that you posted, I think I understand the problem.\

    You gave him 5000.00 for a car, drove it off the lot, transmission went out within 4 hours of owning the car.

    The car got towed back to the dealership, now he has the car AND the 5k and won’t return your calls.

    If you didn’t get a warranty on the car, then it is ‘buyer beware’, and unless your state offers some protection, then chances are you are out the cost of a new transmission.

    Without a warranty, you cannot demand that they repair it, or buy it back from you.

    I suggest that you find a way to get to the car lot, and deal with them face to face.;

    other than that, you will most likely need to file suit to recoup your losses, or, hire a tow truck to get get the car and take it to a reputable repair shop and have it fixed at your expense.

  5. If your credit rating is not acceptable, they can rescind the deal anytime they want. If you had $5000, then you should have found a car that cost less than that.
