If you have a car insured now, you have 30 days’ automatic coverege on the "new" one. If you don’t, call the dealer and get the VIN of the new one, along with the name of any lienholder (bank, credit union, etc.) and its address, then call an agent and get coverage bound. You don’t want to drive without it!

You can visit the websites of several insurers in the GTA (type ;auto insurance toronto’ in Google) or contact a local insurance broker who can shop around for you (look in Yellow Pages).
