How Do I Find Police Auctions?

I’ve always wanted to go to a police auction and was trying to find one in my area, but i’m having some trouble. The ones that i seem to find are either for cars or property and i’m looking more for tv’s and electronics. I did come across a link on a police departments homepage that lead me to a bidding site like Ubid.com, but i’m looking for an auction where i don’t have to bid against such a wide range of people. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

All government auctions must give public notice. Public notice can be an ad in a newspaper or a bulletin on the wall of the court house.
