It all depends on the location, type of vehicle and if you have never been to an auction before I suggest attending one to see how they operate. You can always check ebay and sites like property room and you may get lucky. You might be better off find a local car dealership that has some cars cheap just to get you from point A to Point B — sometimes you can get lucky and find something under $2000
