  1. If you go in with cash/check in hand, you can almost definitely lower their price more. Brakes are definitely a reason to bring the price down even more. You need to be assertive and don’t give in to their shenanigans. They can show you as many numbers as they want, you need to pay attention to the price out the door. Doc fees are bs, so are a bunch of others. Taxes and registration are not fake fees. Almost everything else is "fake", as in they make it up to make charging you more for a car easier for them.
