Hello. I’m looking to buy a used car at used/private car dealership and I wanted to know how to haggle with them on pricing. Has anyone had success in haggling at a used/private car dealership? I heard these places were difficult to haggle. Any help would be great.

  1. Greenbacks…as in hundred dollar bills work well. As does getting in your car & attempting to leave if they wont meet your price.

    No salesman or dealer is going to let you drive away if they can sell you a car at a reasonable profit. They know that 80% of the time, you wont be back.
