I have brought a car from an auctions and it has come without the log book(V5C) i have tax mot + insurance?

The insurance company have asked if registered in my name – i have advised that it is not yet in my name as i have just sent of for a new log book. they are happy to insure me as long as i have tax and MOT but what happens if the police were to pull me over? can i drive the car or do i have to wait for the log book?

Hey, these auctions are in every state in America. My friend just bought a practically brand new lexus GX640 at a seized vehicle auction in Texas for something like 11 000.
The book value of it was listed at $77 000, so he did pretty good. I’m thinking of checking it out too.

Log book is a important for the driving the car. But you can insurance it for the safety
