I’m looking for a good car for a cheap price. Does anyone know anything about police auctions?

they can offer very good deals if you are a savvy buyer. The vehicles are always very high mileage, but if owned by large agencies have been routinely maintained. (I’d avoid, say, the Mayberry PD auction.) Take an experienced mechanic with you to look the stock over beforehand and you will probably get a good buy. Most of those cars, though, are gas hogs, just remember.
