LA Police car auctions?

im looking for that place where people con buy cars very cheap from the police, i know its in or near downtown, could you get me a map or something? thanks!

  1. That place in downtown is where the police stores its extra police vehicles.

    When the police impound a vehicle and it is not claimed by the owner, it becomes the property of the storage place. These garages are called "OPG" or official police garages.

    These are the places that have frequent auctions. There are police garages located all throughout the city and each one is filled with vehicles which either get claimed, sold or scrapped.

    There may be places that advertise as "police auctions" but the police are not the ones who actually sell the vehicles. The police are not in the business of selling vehicles.
