  3. These are FMTV’s, they are not amphibious trucks. The cabs are not water tight so it doesn’t matter if the windows were open the cab was completely flooded. They can ford 60″ of water…not 120″ the engine snorkel can be seen right behind the cab just above the water.

  4. Hey Dusco. As you’ve probably been made aware by now, these are specially designed amphibious trucks to be used in flood areas. They can operate almost fully submerged. With dark, murky water like this it’s next to impossible to gauge the depth of water. These guys are making a valiant attempt to rescue flood victims. How bout giving them credit for that instead of you highly ignorant comments…
