is there any police car autions in vegas for the public or just any car auctions and is it true that if u buy ur car there its usually garbage

the Police Evidence auction (Which is what i think you are referring to) is held in conjuntion with the municipal vehicle sale. usually the sale is over behind Sam Boyd, I forget exactly which street. There are 2 sales per year that I am aware of. One in April, and another in November. If you contact the public information office, they can get you exact dates.
The times I have been, there were about 3-4 good cars, and a ton of cars that were beat up, used up, or just plain worn out.
