  4. I suggest you read this page: http://www.carbuyingtips.com/auto-auctions.htm

    According to the author, it’s often overpriced. If you live in a small town, you may get dirt cheap cars there, but don’t count on it. And these, as mentioned in the article, are likely old dumped cars which have not been used for years. This means more mechanical problems, etc.

    Now it’s probably always worth going and checking out how it goes…
