Here’s a rundown. My car has been repossessed. It was financed thru GMAC, Blue book on the car is ,500, I owe ,600 and I am behind ,300 in payments (3 months). It was repossessed on a Friday morning and I called GMAC who then gave me the number of the Dallas Recovery center who took my car. I called them and was told that I needed to wait 24 before I could get a quote on how much it would be to get my car back but they were closed all weekend so to call back first thing in the morning on Monday. It is now Sunday and I am waiting. Is there anyone out there who has been in a similar situation and how they got out of it. I have the ,300 I owe and whatever fees they tack on I can take care of but since the loan amount is so low I was curious if maybe they would make me pay off the whole amount. I want to keep the car since I only owe ,600 on it.

PS: I dont need a lecture on how I should pay my bills I realize I messed up. I have had the car for 4 years and this is the
