My vehicle was seized unfairly- I cooperated…now they are asking for the title to my car- I REFUSED…?

What can happen to me and how hard will this make it to be sold to someone at a public auction?? The bailiff took my vehicle, I practically gift wrapped it. Although I DIDNT give the gas cap key NOR the remote alarm key thing- DAMN THAT- he had the nerve to call and ask me for the title to "MAKE IT EASIER AND TO CLEAR IT UP"- I DONT THINK SO!!!
