Ok here are the details i have a 3 year lease on my current car. I don’t want it anymore and i don’t want to trade, because ill end up upside down on payments..So would it be better to just give back my car to the dealership and then just go buy a used car..will I get penalized once I leave my contract? Oh also they told me I could break the contract after a year, i’ve had it for 6 months.

Is it possible to return a used car back to a dealership when the car is not paid in full(Monthly Payments) and the buyer wants to get another car or wants to return the car for good if he/she is unable to pay due to unavoidable circumstances.
What is the fee to break the contract, like an estimate how much do u think it would be?

My Moms car was repossessed and during this time, no one was at home. During this time, my mom’s neighbor told her that when the tow truck company came out, they had broken the steering column to get the car. Now the bill has been paid and not the creditor nor the tow truck company is fessing up to it. The tow truck company says it was like that prior to them picking up the car and said it makes no sense that their people would break the steering column. Why would they do that? She can’t afford to get that fixed and towed from where it is at. What steps should we take now?

I’m an 18 year old college student in search of a used car. I have 00 to spend. My only problem is I don’t know how to make sure the car won’t break down a week after buying it. I don’t wanna get ripped off. My family just sits there. They just make the process take longer so I wanna do this by myself. What should I look at when I’m checking out a used car?
