Buying a used car?

28th August 2011

I was looking online at cars.com because I was looking for a car that could get me to work and school back and forth for ,000 and I saw a car from the city auto auction that looks good for 0 is that the price I will pay or would I have to pay more?

If you are looking for a place wherein you could save a lot of money in purchasing cars, the right place is to go to one of the government’s car auctions. The cars that you will find on government car auction are of good condition. Usually, you can find a car at 95% cheaper as compared to buying cars from others.

You may be wondering on where does the government get these cars and they sell it for a very low price. Actually, the government gets the cars from people who were not able to pay their car loans on time. The government takes the cars back and puts them on auction. If you are lucky enough, you can find a car which is almost brand new. Especially with today’s economy, the number of people who fail to pay their car loans on time is increasing.

A lot of people are buying cars from government car auctions and then sell them for profit. One technique to win bidding on a car is to always get updated with the announcements on when and where an auction will take place. The government itself announces when an auction will take place. In case that the auction will take place in another state, it is advisable to use car shipping in transporting your car to your place, make sure to hire a competent car shipping company. Though it is possible to just drive the car to your place, it is still not recommended because of the drawbacks that come with the driving itself.

I am looking at buying a car at a pretty good price from someone who said they have no title for car. They say they bought the car at a police auction and have proof of sale slip they would sign over to me once I bought car. They say with this proof of sale slip I could go through all necesarry steps and get car registered with dmv in my name, but that it would involve me having to get a courtdate to get title out of old owners name.My question is would it be legal for me to slap a temporary 30day liscense plate on the car and drive it around while im doing all this? If anyone has done this before and can share experience it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
