What is the best place to find a used car?
3rd May 2011
I am looking for a Honda Civic sedan. Craigslist did not have anything. I live in Los Altos near Mountain View in CA. Are there other ways to find good used cars?
The Honda dealers rip you off if you try to buy a used car through them. I wish to find private parties to buy a used car.

…license in the state of CA?
Know of "dealer’s only" auto auctions, went to CA DMV website and you have to have a business/license and other requirements.
Hi there. I am purchasing a new vehicle and with the price of gas these days, each car I have test drove for the past month has a quarter tank to near empty. I don’t know if this is common, and if it’s courteous to provide a full tank to the seller. Have you bought used cars from dealers in the past and remember? Thank you.
