When my car was repossessed because the payment was mailed back for a lack of 3 cents on the postage so it was late by a day or two the guy repossessing it was about to take it away when my mom went out to talk to him. Then i asked if we had to take everything out of the car and he said we didn’t have to but we could so i decided to just in case. But he though we got everything out so just drove away with my car in tow. But there was still a 3-4 hundred dollar pair of glasses my dad bought awhile back and a bunch of cds in the cd player. Now Honda decided to sell the car only after a day or two after repossession. How can i get the stuff back. Is he legally supposed to mail everything back to us or is he allowed to sell it off?

My car was totaled and I decided not to keep it. But I have nice after market stuff in it. If I can, whats the limit of stuff I can keep? Bumper, tranny, engine?

I was in a very serious collision 10 days ago in which my ’01 Sunfire with 25,000 miles was totalled, and much more tragically two others died. Never having been in even a fender bender in the past, I had no idea how fast decisions must be made. So, folks, here’s my dilemma and question.
Being a woman, I often have selected my car based upon color as long as it was sporty!
Well, since I owned the Sunfire for so long, I’m TOTALLY out of the loop when it comes to knowing what cars are available. So I need your help.
Is there a website which would allow me to "BUILD A CAR" by selecting my requirements like: Coupe, CD player, Sunroof, etc. and a list of cars meeting my requirements would pop out REGARDLESS OF MANUFACTURER?

This will be a used car, but I’ve heard that there is some sort of website that even allows you to put in a span of years like (2004 – 2006).

Thanks to all who read this. I already have my mechanic lined up to check out ANY vehicle I get serious about as a kind of "insurance" that I’m purchasing a non-lemon. I’ve thought about police/seized auctions but will research that on my own once I get a list of models to even consider!
