This really urgent!
I get separated from my husband for domestic violence, we had two cars but both of them was only under my husband name, but the insurance was under my name for the car that I’ve been using. I just found out that the bank repossessed the car that I’ve been driving, I thought that my car has been stolen that day, I was about to bring my baby to the child care early in the morning before to get to work and the car was gone…

I had no idea that he stop to pay the loan for the car that I’ve been driving, nobody never contact me to tell me about this. They just came and took the car in front of my property in the middle of the night.
My question is How to get my belongins from this car, most important I really need the car seat, stroller etc.
and I don’t know what to do to have those items back. I know that my strange husband will never help me to solve this matter, where should I turn for help?

Thank you

I was repossessed 7 years ago and i want to remove it cuz am in the process of buying a home but i don’t know to do it, can any one tell me?
Should i contact a lawyer?
Real state agent said to me she’ll take care of it for 0.00 and she normally charges 0.00 0.00. HELP!! ANYBODY!!!

My husband had an expensive car, when he lost his job & settle for a lower pay instead, his car was repossessed. He thinks he still has balance to pay for the car. Some of our friends say, the debt collection agency will contact us soon to demand the rest of the car payment, even after the car has been sold to someone else. Is this true? How does it work anyway?

I can’t pay for it, and my ex isn’t paying anymore. whenever i try to get money he flips out. i even have police reports from him threatening to kill me. It was stupid to sign for it, i know that, and i’m completely willing to accept the consequences of that. I’ve tried to sell it, but no one will buy it since the loan isn’t paid off so i don’t have the title. i’ve asked Chrysler for voluntary repossesion twice (in april and september) but they refuse. i’ve told them i’m not paying, but they are holding out either to ruin my credit even more, or because they think i will pay. I’ve asked them to reposses, i know they’ll sell the car at auction and i’ll have to come up with the rest somehow and i know that. i just want them to take it so i can start repairing my credit and i won’t have to have any contact with my crazy ex anymore. So is there any way i can force them to reposses?

I was involved in an accident in which the insurance company deemed my car a total loss. I still owed captial one auto finance about 6,000 on it and I didn’t have gap insurance. I elected to buy the car back from the insurance company for 0, but now I’m worried about Capital one trying to repossess the car, even though it’s wrecked now. Will captial one reposess a vehicle which has been deemed a total loss? Will I get a salvage title from the insurance company automatically, or who do I need to contact to get that?
