i am planning to go on a trip around the USA in july/august and i was thinking about renting or buying a used car. i want it to be the cheapest ever so i don’t want to spend more than 00 and i would like to sell it at the end of the trip. i would arrive from Spain to New York city.
1) is it possible to buy a used car even if being a foreigner? do i need some special documents?
2) do you recommend buying o renting? which is more economical?
3)if buying, where would you recommend me to look? in location or by web site.
4)is it better to buy once outside NYC (economical)? where would it be a good place to buy?
5) i looked on craigslist and some cars cost like or less, what is the swindle?
6)which type of car would you recommend? one that doesn’t consume a lot of fuel. Diesel, gasoline?
7) do you know anyone who has travelled that way?

hi i m planning a used car .and im asking where i can buy one like is there an online auction any one try and i can trust or actual auction and i live in southern California .please dont tell me ebay or craigslist cuz i dont really trust the ppl on ebay or craigslist there no good deal if any one know where i can find an police or government auto auction or even salvage in southern california please help

Hi, I’m looking for a used car but I really don’t have that much money to spend. I’ve been all over the internet lately but can’t seem to find anything which has caught my eye. Craigslist and Ebay are not yielding any favorable results. I know that there are ceased cars being auctioned off by the police, DEA, etc. Can you tell me where I can find these auctions in my city?

I’ve heard that auctioned vehicles can be a bargain if bought wisely but I can’t find any of these auction listings. The ones available are not free either. Can you suggest some good sites to see these auctions in my local city or just to browse used cars in general?
