I am thinking about getting my first used car loan. If I go to a few different dealerships and they check my credit score for pre-approval for financing, does this negatively affect my credit score? If Dealer A checks my credit on Monday, and Dealer B and C checks my credit on Tuesday.. does this have negative impacts on my actual credit score, or report?

Thanks.

My mom had 45 years of GREAT credit then…
My mom is the co-signer of my sister’s car.
It got repossessed and we got the car back.
My sister makes late payments.

I want to get a car now, and the only way is to get a loan.
Is her credit report going to be too bad to get the loan?

So i bought a car i shouldn’t of barely made payments for a year and a half missed the last two they just came and got it. between payments, insurance, and gas the thing cost me about 00 a month and i need new front pads and rotors which will be another 00. i have another 2 years of payments and the car will only get older which will cost me more money with replacing parts and stuff. my credit is mid to low 500s anyway should i just let them keep it buy something cheap. i know it shows up on your credit report that they came and got the car but you paid to get it back so is there big difference between that and just letting them have it. i know i’ll have to pay the difference for what it goes for in an auction but i’m probably 00 flipped in it anyway so can’t sell it privately or trade it in. and i’m looking for serious advice please don’t ask "why would you buy that car anyway?" i was young and dumb. bottom line paying for this car has put me behind in all my other bills almost been a curse since i got it should i just wipe my hands clean of it?

The car is only worth about 2k if that on kelly bluebook and i have paid over 6k for it. i still owe about 2.5k. Has anyone else ever done this and what happened? i have been told that it will not hurt my credit b/c car mart does not pull credit report.
but they cannot ding up my credit if they never pulled a credit report, right? i know that they did not, i have seen my credit report

I had a car repossessed by Chase in Sept of ’08. It sold at auction for 6,000 less than it was worth. On my credit reports it shows that I owe chase nothing, only that it was a repo and charged off. They didn’t sue me either. I haven’t had anyone contact me about this debt. Did it disappear? If the debt was sold does the new company have to contact me (or report to a bureau)within a certain period of time?
MARIA:

YES it shows the same on all reports:
Past due {content}, Balance {content}. Profit and loss writeoff
Caveat Emptor:

How long does Chase have to sue me? I imagine each state is different, I’m in Nevada if you happen to know NEvada laws
