later, lien holder came to storage yard where car was kept,it was found
badly damaged and declared totalled and when lien holder thought car
had no insurance coverage they abandonned it so when I got out of jail
I called ins ,filed a claim, ins only paid 17000$ out of 24000$ they est-
imated it was worth, storage yard sold car at a lien auction sale when
no one came to pay for fees, I put down 8340$ on the 25650$ loan, I gave a 16153$ check to lien holder to payoff loan, how do I get back my downpayment and who is responsable to pay it ins or lien holder?

If I were to buy a used car, can I make monthly payments instead of buying it all at once?
Would the insurance be high if I did this? (I’m 18)
Normally, how much would a downpayment be on a 6000 dollar car?
Let’s say I do have a cosigner, what do you mean by interest?

I bought a 2006 Subaru WRX STI. I traded in a 2004 350Z which was paid for. The value applied to my purchase from this trade in was ,500.00. I wrote a check, from my home equity line account, for the balance roughly, but not to rough, ,300.00. The check alledgedly bounced and the 06 Subaru was repossessed within 21 days of purchase. Is this a legal practice? The reason I ask the person doing all the paper work had me sign a Finance Agreement. I asked him why? And he replied it is because you are writing out a check with your trade-in but as you can see everything was zero’s. Since they repossessed my new car the only thing I could find in all the fine print in the Finance and Purchase Agreements was that if the dealer couldn’t place the financing they were to notify me in writing within 10 days and am to return new car and receive my downpayment or trade in back with no penalty. Is my check bouncing equal to not being able to place the financing? Does the 10 days apply?

I purchased a car and put 600 down the dealer wants 1500. The loan has already been approved and I got my payment book from the finance company. Can the dealer reposess my vehicle for the difference of the money for the downpayment
We agreed that I would put 1500 down but I only had 600 at the time. The car is financed through my bank not the dealer. I already made my first payment.

just got my license im planning on buying a used car but havent saved up yet..but i need a car for school and work, commuting is very expensive. daddy will be the owner of the car ill buy and ill pay it off with my own money.
