I want to buy an used car from either a dealer or private seller. Before I do, how would I take the car in for an inspection?
If I find a car that I like from a dealer, how would I set it up where I take the car to an inspector before purchasing? Is there an inspector that I can pay for him to go to the dealer to inspect?

From a private seller, do I just ask the seller to take the car for an inspection, and I would pay for it?

So I went to the bank and they approved me for a loan towards my car. The loan officer said that when I find a car, that I had the dealership write up the papers for me to bring into the bank. Now I forgot what the exact name was of the papers the dealerships needs to fill out. How long does this process take anyways? How do I explain the situation without looking like an idiot? Mostly, what happens when I am ready to buy the used car?

Here goes.. I sold my wrecked car to an autobody mechanic for one thousand dollars. He was supposed to help me find a car at a auction. He told me that he need at least 0 to bid on the car. Me being the dumb idiot I believed him. He wrote 2 receipts one for the car that I sold him & the other for locating a car for me. The receipt states that he will refund the money if the car isn’t found or if I find a car elsewhere. Later that day I found a car at a local dealer and called him and told him that I needed my $$ back. Its been a month and still no money!! He eventually wrote me a check and post dated it. I deposited the check which was returned as NSF. SO I went to teh Tag and title Agency and had teh title that he had voided by ordering a duplicate. I got the police involved from day one and the same ofcr came. I wanted to reposses the car but the cop was like you already sold him the car so u cnt take it. WHAT ARE my options other than taking him 2 court?
He never found the car at the auction. I told him that I found a car elsewhere the receipt states that if he doesn’t find the car or if I find another car he is to return my $$. I canceled the title that he has and ordered a duplicate. He is pissed off now and says that he is going to take me to court. The cop said that I shouldn’t have done that because I sold him the car. Yeah… but what about my 700 that he owes me? He can get the title after he pays me. But he says that he’s taking me to court which I find funny because he has the car and the money. Can he sell the car if he doesn’t have the Duplicate title? I had the tag agency void the one that he has.

i’ve heard of the police auctions and how they sell cars, and they go really cheap,,, i would like to know where to get them and how? lots of details please

Where can I find a Car Auction website that serves the TX area. I’ve found many, but they don’t seem legit. I know Texas Direct Auto buys from auction.
