These markets have developed from various factors. What you need to know is that some people get into car purchase financial agreements that they fail to fulfill. In such cases the loaning organisation such as the bank or even the government remains with no choice but to take back the property in order to raise the remaining balance. The reason to this is that the car auctions market is fast paced and the responsible authorities seek to recover the remaining balance to clear the costs off as fast as possible. Cars in the auctions are sold to the highest bidder. Except for specialty or collector (think Barrett Jackson), bank repossession, governmental seizure and fleet disposal and eBay auctions, all of which ARE public, the balance are going to be the very same ones through which any other dealer obtains its wholesale used inventory.

Apart from any registration fees which, in most cases are nominal when amortized over the volume of vehicles a typical dealer is likely purchase, an auction is an auction is an auction, unless it happens to be a one-off liquidation due to a particularly large number of a particular type of vehicle being offered.

There really aren’t that many established auction operators in a given region to begin with, so you might as well follow the pack.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.

I’ll be driving soon and my dad agreed to buy me a car, on one condition: it has to be used and not new. I am looking for a car that gets good gas mileage, is good for the environment, and affordable (under ,000). Know any good cars that meet my requirements and is good for a new driver?

Im going to a car auction house in a few days with about ,000. It was my dads idea to get a car there for me but im pretty skeptical. so what are the signs of a good/bad car at these places?
