Has anyone been to Hollywood Tow's Official Police Garage auto auction?
16th November 2011
i need a decent used car for a fair price and I’m going to check out Hollywood Tow next week. I will hire a mechanic to inspect the cars that I would be interested in.
Does anyone have any tips? Any experience dealing with this particular auction, or other auctions? What’s the best game plan?
Review of Car-Auction
29th August 2011
One of the undisputed, top government and police auction websites on the Internet is “Car-Auction”. We are rigorous in our reviews of government auction websites because they can be potentially dangerous to the consumer. At the same time, however, a legitimate one can offer unbelievable savings so it is worth pursuing. One very reputable one is Car-Auction and the subsequent facts in this article will demonstrate why you should seriously consider it for your government and police auction needs.
Each and every month, thousands of vehicles become government property because of seized and foreclosure laws. Instead of paying for storage, the government would rather sell these vehicles as fast as possible, which means big savings for the consumer. Car-Auction grants you access to secret Repo auctions, has bids started at one hundred dollars or less, and allows you to purchase right from the source. The vehicles are seized by the Police, IRS, and other authorities and are available for up to 90% off retail value. All of the cars are clean and low mileage. The quality of listings and the product are right on par with Gov-Auctions.
The website has recently started offering car auction listings for both online and live on-location auto auctions. Finding your favorite car is as easy as entering your zip code or car make/model. You will immediately be shown a list of cars available in your area. The site also offers instant access to cars that don’t sell during the p0lice auctions and often go later for around 0. You can buy cars, trucks, vans, RV/campers, boats, motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATV’s, buses, and even aircrafts. Tens of thousands of vehicle listings of all types are available and easy to find throughout North America. Unlike some illegitimate auctions sites, Car-Auction has pictures of the vehicle and all of the contact and auction information.
In conclusion, Car-Auction is one of the top rated government and police auction websites on the Internet for a reason. They measure high in all significant categories, from legitimacy to vehicle quality. Access to listings and ease of search may be the best of all features. You cannot go wrong if you choose Car-Auction for your p0lice and government auctions service

Hi I just got a job and its an awesome job but there’s one problem. I work the night shift and they have given me shifts that end @ like 2am, which is bad for me because I have to take the bus and it stops running to my hometown @ 12am. So i need to get a car fast. I decided that I’m going to try police auctions. I’m just curious to how much i would save on these models compared to their standard retail value.
Model Suggested Retail Value (Excellent Condition)
1996 Honda Civic ,255
1996 Nissan Sentra ,810
1996 Toyota Corolla ,045
I chose these cars because even though they’re pretty old they are known for gas mileage and reliability and are not very expensive. Which is a plus because I need to get a hold of car as soon as possible. Thank you in advanced for the feedback
I am looking at buying a car at a pretty good price from someone who said they have no title for car. They say they bought the car at a police auction and have proof of sale slip they would sign over to me once I bought car. They say with this proof of sale slip I could go through all necesarry steps and get car registered with dmv in my name, but that it would involve me having to get a courtdate to get title out of old owners name.My question is would it be legal for me to slap a temporary 30day liscense plate on the car and drive it around while im doing all this? If anyone has done this before and can share experience it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
