Long story short my husband is getting 1300 BAH monthly. He hasn’t paid the rent so we are getting evicted and his car was repossessed. He threw a few punches at me so he also has a domestic violence case against him, and I moved out, out of state back to my parents. I am also pregnant. My question is, since I am living away from him for safety reasons am I entitled to the BAH? Especially if it’s obvious that he isn’t spending the BAH where it’s supposed to go?
NO, he won’t get convicted of the domestic violence charge because I don’t have the money to go back and forth to testify against him, so the judge will have to throw the case out (from what the prosecuting attorney told me)
The last thing I have money for is a divorce :/
Well then why do service members receive BAH only after they are married or have children? The last two don’t make any sense, the military gives him extra money not to piss it off as he pleases, but the purpose of it is to support his spouse, or whomever it is intended to. I just confronted another service member about this and he confirmed that the only plausible answer was the first one, because the military isn’t going to give you an extra grand a month for no reason, and if he’s not living up to his responsibilities he can get in trouble.

Ok, a few days ago I got behind on two payments and my car was repossessed. I know it’s my responsibility to pay and I take that responsibility. I am a single mom and bought the car from so old "mom and pop" place while I was pregnant because the guy said that he "would work with me" while I was on UNPAID maternity leave for six weeks. He actually did not and got an attitude when I got one payment behind. When I bought the car it started overheating and found out that the radiator was bad and I needed a new water pump. He then came up to my job and took the air out of my tires to take the car. Two hours later the repo man arrives and tows the car away. My dad gave me the money to get the car back but when I drove it home yesterday I noticed that the steering wheel feels like it is out of control and is going to fall off at any minute. I have to drive my two month old daughter in this car and feel very unsafe driving it right now. Is there anything I can do? Is the repo man responsible for any damages. I am not trying to get over at all and if there is nothing I can do then I understand that. Thanks!

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger. Back in May I was laid off from my job as an x-ray tech and have not been able to find another one. (I am currently eight months pregnant also) I can no longer afford to make my car payments and as you can guess my car is not worth what I got the loan for only being one year old. I still owe 23,000 on it and it is now only worth 17,500 according to Kelly blue book. And that is selling it to a private party not a trade-in. I do not have the difference to pay the bank in order to get the title if I did sell it. My family is not able to lend me the money and since I have been laid off my credit has went to crap so I know I can’t get a loan. Can anybody tell me what my options are? I know if it gets repossessed I will pay those fees and when the bank does sell it is is usually for so much more less than I owe leaving me with a huge balance to pay and no means to pay it. HELP PLEASE!
