MY friend’s leased car was repossessed and she has bad credit now…I am thinking bankruptcy is the logical next step.
Any advice or insight is appreciated.
Hey…Julius "genius". I asked the question.
I did not answer the question.
Perhaps, some reading comprehension ?

The question is- she was told a repossession is counted against her for 10 yrs. Is this true?
Is there anyone here who has actually filed bankruptcy?

ive got 00 and everyone tells me that a local auction on cars that have been repo’s and other cars that have been dealt with by the police. Are farly good auctions. Someone told me for 2500 they walked out with a chrysler 300 on 22"s. Clarify for me.
Thanks

I am in the middle of purchasing a used car from an auto auction house. i have kept all of my documentation. I have a recent charge off on my credit from a recent car accident and know my score is not the best. I reviewed docs that were sent to me from the finance company which do not match the forms i signed. I put a down pmt of 00 on my visa and later sent 0 over the phone 9days later. Less than two days after I drove off the lot (not yet financed) the car made horrible noises and with the sellers permission i took the car to the nearest manufacturer’s dealer, the repair was minor. The seller "took care" of the repairs, rental and diagnostic charges. On the agreement i signed the sales price is ,300 plus GAP, warranty and standard fees. The pink I just received in the mail from the finance company shows an inflated sales price of around ,150 with no GAP or warranty, it shows my total down payment of 00 on the original purch date & forged signatures. I need a car, this one works great, and want to start trying to fix my credit should i just play along?

We bought a used 2004 Infinity G35 with 20,000 miles. It is pristine in and out with all the options except navigation. I am beating myself up because I think I could have gotten a better deal. The list price was ,900 and the "Internet" price was ,900. We got it for ,900 plus window tinting for free. Anyone out there with experience in the car business or personal experience? I wanted to dicker the price down more but my hubby said he thought that the price was as low as we could get it.
I forgot to mention that it is the 2 door coupe and not the 4 door sedan. It also has an automatic transmission, and not the 6 speed manual.

I would like to know more about buying a car through a public auction, repossessed cars, police seized cars, government auctions. How do i get into these auctions? What can i expect? Where would the best auctions be located in California? How does the auction work? What are good sources to look up the car’s history before buying it through an auction? Are there available warranties or are these car’s "as is"? The more information you can provide, the better.
