For tax preparation purpose. How do I get credit for a car that was repossessed?

I am planning to buy a used car, can anyone tell me how much tax I will have to pay on it? I know that if it is bought from a private seller, there won’t be any taxes, but if I buy it from a car dealership, will I have to pay GST + PST, or just one of them?

I’m in Manitoba, Canada

I got my car repossessed last May, (I was making payments, just not full payments) and I was just wondering if it will affect my taxes this year or if there is anything I need to do. I tried to research on the internet, but found nothing.
Thanks.

I bought a used car in 2008 and have not been putting the interest I’ve paid on the car loan on my taxes. Can I put the paid interest as a deduction? I live in Wisconsin if that matters.
