If your buying from a major car dealer don’t try to out smart them,they get paid for a living to outsmart you.Just offer them 3,000 less than they are asking and if they say no just walk away.Most big dealers have little or no money in their used cars cause they rip people off on trade in’s.The mark up is all profit.That obviously don’t work on a 3 or $4,000 car.If they are asking $7,000 for a car i gaurantee you they will take $4,000 cash.The key is to not haggle,just say what you will give or walk away.They won’t let you walk away with cash in your hand or even if your financing it.
