In Manitoba, Canada I have to pay a Provincial Sales Tax(PST) of 7% and a Good and Services Tax(GST) of 6%. That’s 0 extra tax for every 00 towards a used vehicle. That’s 00 on a ,000 used car that you have to give to the Government for absolutely nothing. And its not like I have a choice living in Canada. Its 40 below zero 8 months of the year where I live so walking or taking the bus is not an option.

  1. On all cars bought at a dealer the taxes have been added to the bill and the dealer takes care of paying it. As for why the high taxes it’s because they like to take it to us more then once. Did you know that every time a car gets sold taxes must be paid? Why does the government do this they tax the car when you first buy it. ONE TAX SHOULD BE MORE THEN ENOUGH.
