I am planning on traveling around 2 hours to go purchase a used car. IF I buy it, what happens? Do I just pay them and they will give me temporary tags? How do I get the car back to my home from the dealership? What is the process?

  1. you get a temp to take the car home. The dealership SHOULD send in the paperwork for you to get a regular tag.

  3. Here is the easy answer…look up any car dealer when you are planning to make a purchase…any dealer…really does not matter which one…call them and ask. Every state and even some areas within a state have different requirements…the dealer will know…or, at least he should…and that would be the best answer. Don’t call Joe’s Cars and Lottery Cards…call a reputable dealer.
