Im looking to buy a new car, and have been told you can get newish cars for bargain prices at auctions, where cars have been repossesed by the finance companies. I just dont know where to look!! A friend also said that you can buy cars that have been confiscated by the police…is this true? And if so where do i find out about this also?

  1. Unfortunately bargain cars don’t exist at auction. Cars are going well over "book" value and you take alot more risk on when you buy at auction.

  3. Motor auctions are where these types of cars are sold. They also sell one owner ex mobility cars etc, which have usually got low mileage and full service histories, and can be a bargain if you do your homework on the prices?Hope this helps
