    Call the Riverside Police, ask them what happens to their old cars.

    But: keep in mind that before the cruisers, pursuit cars, command-control squad cars etc, get auctioned off, any items that fit into the classification of "speed package" are REMOVED.
    After all, cops don’t want civilians driving cop cars that were meant to CATCH lawbreakers, right?

    Finally, ponder this: in California recently, a guy was arrested for using an auction-bought police car, dressed in most of the clothes in a police uniform, and a badge he bought on eBay; he had an unmarked ‘retired’ black squad car, complete with spotlight, backseat cage, etc. He was randomly stopping people, impersonating a police officer. He’s in jail now.
